Greetings Whites Creek Family!
These are exciting times! Although long overdue, we have come together to form an association of people who will work to uplift and protect the name and integrity of our distinguished Alma Mater, Whites Creek High School! We know our history is great and we know that we must organize ourselves in order to preserve our great legacy. We face many challenges in restoring our greatness. The Tennessee Report Card for Davidson County reveals that Whites Creek’s ACT Scores are below average and its graduation rate is lower than state average! Our task is great. At the same time, there is always hope. Our students are above average in writing, attendance is in sync with national standards, and we have an Administration and Faculty that is committed to making Whites Creek the best it can be. But what is needed most is support from Alumni. That is why it is so important you discover what the Alumni Association is all about and get involved. With networking events, fundraising and alumni/student activities, picnics, and other functions in the plans, we are seeking to have plenty of fun at the same time. So, get involved by volunteering to serve on a committee, running for a Board position, or donating money to the Association. Whatever you choose to do, just do something!
Mission Statement:
To create, maintain, and enhance relationships among Whites Creek High School alumni, current and prospective students, faculty, staff and friends in order to foster loyalty, interest and support for the school and for one another.
Purpose:
The purpose of the Association shall be to help encourage, build and foster the community of Whites Creek High School Alumni. The Association shall carry out fundraising and charitable activities for the benefit of the school, its current students and alumni. The Association shall also function as the alumni’s official voice in communicating with the school and with other alumni groups.
